Who?

Radius is an eclectic collection of noise makers and listeners. Radius is administered by Jeff Kolar and edited by Meredith Kooi.

What?

Broadcasts are powered using the Audio Relay unit, a collaborative project between Temporary Services and Intermod Series.

Radius is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license. 

Radius is not a licensed Low Power FM radio station. Radius transmits 4-watts using either AC electricity or solar panels that charge a 12volt car battery.

Where?

Radius is based in a southwest neighborhood of Chicago, IL, USA. All audio works are broadcasted locally on 88.9 FM with a secondary stream online.

   

When?

Radius operates under Central Standard Time. Use a time zone converter here.

Radius does not operate as a 24/7/365 broadcast. We do not require artists to adhere to a strict durational format.

How?

Radius accepts submissions for upcoming episodes on an ongoing basis. To submit work for review, read our submission guidelines.
