Radio Wide World is a series of compostions that use shortwave radio to capture radio signals affected by ionic scatter, extreme weather conditions, solar flares, and meteorite showers. The recordings were made on cassettes in the summers of 1994 and 1995 with a small AM/FM/SW/LW radio, a double cassette deck, and later a 1963 U.S. military shortwave receiver purchased at a yard sale.
