Sketchpad

The Sketchpad series is an ongoing monthly radio show produced for the Transmission Arts program. The show features re-broadcasts of previous Radius episodes. Each episode is followed by a playlist of works selected by that episode’s artist. The series seeks to highlight the peripheral work that influences the research and production of the episode.

The Sketchpad series is presented in partnership with:

WGXC: Hands-on-Radio - a creative community radio station and media project in Greene and Columbia counties in upstate New York.

free103point9 - a nonprofit arts organization based in New York State that defines and cultivates the genre of Transmission Art by promoting artists who make work with, for, and about the electromagnetic spectrum.

Transmission Arts Archive - an online resource, a physical study center, and book that promotes artists, works, exhibitions, and scholarship spanning early radio experiments of the 1880s up to contemporary transmission works.

Sketchpad broadcasts every fourth Saturday of the month from 2pm-3pm EST in Greene and Columbia counties, New York on WGXC: Hands On Radio 90.7fm. For exact dates visit the WGXC program schedule here.
